Maria Rita Cerimele

is part of the Work of Mary (better known as the Focolare Movement). She has held many positions within the Focolare throughout Italy, at the national and international levels as well as having taught Latin and Greek in state high schools.  She has written several articles on topics relating to her specialization in Classical Philology, her teaching experience and current events, the latter primarily published in Città Nuova online. 

She currently lives in Rome and collaborates with the Central Commission of the Movement on the spread of its charism of unity established by founder Chiara Lubich and is a founding member of the Round Table on the Feminine Dimension.
